A Blue Box for a Card - Easy Rider

Hello dear readers and visitors!
I have something new to share - a blue box for cards (actually, not only for cards :) )

Several days ago I got Marianne Design Creatables LR0156 Flower and Leaves Dies, which I ordered at EBay. I saw these beautiful leaves in many cards and just fell in love with them! They are gorgeous!

Back to the box.... As a basis I used a cornflakes box, cut it to2 pieces, scored each of them, glued at the sides. Here is how it looked at the beginning:

And here is how the ready made box looks like:
(The flowers are self-made, the stamped image is an Easy Rider by Penny Black, the stamped sentiment is from Cloud 9 Design set "Simple Thoughts - Laughter", the nesting circle is by Sizzix - NESTING DOILY CIRCLES  DC0253)

I'd appreaciate your comments, if you're ready to post any :)

Inspiration Party :)

Hello dear readers and visitors!

Today in the morning me & my friend Sveta went to an Inspiration Party which was organized by Inbal Gibor.
First of all, thank you, Inbal, for the initiative! I really hope these meetings will become kind of traditional. Second of all, we met really great people there, each and every one creative in her way. Meetings like these definitely inspire to create, to explore new things, to go out and take part in other inspirational activities.

From the materials at the party I prepared this creative board:

Though it was a bit hot in the Yarkon Park in Tel-Aviv today, it was lots of fun! See you at the next party!

A Window Card

This card is pretty simple, 'cuz I made it more as an experiment.

The window is not hollow, I placed there a transparent plastic sheet. For the first time I used  a metal corner finding  in a card. I tried to search different blogs online in order to understand, how they attach this metal finding to a card - it's thin and ornate, so it's not so simple to attach it with hot glue or something like that.
As far as I didn't find any explanation, at last I decided to fasten it with glue dots. Time will show, if it's strong enough.

The stamped image is from Pergamano CLEAR STAMPS FLOWERS #41901.

Have a great day and check back sometime! Thanks! :)

"A Little Sailor" Criss-Cross Card - Anything Goes challenge

Hello, friends! I have a new card to share, and I have to adimt I'm pretty satisfied with it :)

I saw this wonderful tutorial for a criss-cross card by Jeanette Comerford on You Tube and the idea was already in the air.

I chose papers from a HopScotch Paper Pad by BasicGrey.
The stamped image is "Tilda On Rope Ladder" from Magnolia Bon Voyage Collection.
The paper flowers are (as usual) self-made with the help of Nellie Snellen Floral punches.

Here are some progress photos:

I'm entering this card to the Simon Says Stamp Anything Goes challenge

The beatiful white flower was presented to me by my scrap friend Sveta. You may read her blog here. These are several of the embellishments she made and gave me. Thank you Sveta!

Last week I made another polymer clay pendant. I really tried to make a picture of it, so that you could see how it shines (I polished it on my Bench Polishing Mashine). Each time I'm amazed with the results - you don't even have to varnish the finished product :)

That's it for now! Thanks for stopping by!

Tweet Talk

Morning everyone!
About a month ago I bought several stamps from "My Punch" and at last I got to using them. In the following card I chose to stamp an image with the "Penny Black Tweet Talk" stamp.
At first, I was sure I'd make a card in blue colors, but somehow (when I started coloring the image) I decided that the girl's dress must be red-pink. This detail gave a new directin to the color scheme, and the card came out pink.
Till now I have been making cards in 6' X 6' size, but this cards' dimensions are 5.5' X 7':

Mini Art Journal "Three Owls"

This is what I felt like doing today:

The journal's dimensions are 15 cm in height & 10.5 cm in width. I'm planning to put down in it different ideas for future projects. Hope there'll be plenty :)

The Cutest Candy Doll

An artist named Suzanna from St.Petersburg (Russia)  is making different dolls, and no matter how may of them there'll be, each and every one of them will be unique and cute in it's own way. If you join Suzanna's blog, you could also take part in the candy, the winner of which will be a happy owner of this Swiss-Roll-Girl:
Good luck!

A Pink Card for a 18-Year-Old

A colleague from work asked me to make a card for her daughter, who's turning 18 in less than a month. The card had to be in pink colors, as the one who's bithday it is LOVES pink.
The flowers for the card I made by myself (as it is lately getting used to be). I also tried to make a stamped image by LaLaLand Crafts kind of 3D, it's was one of my first tries to do so.
Here is the card with some details:

In addition, for a long time I wanted to share the photo of these Mary Go Round crochet flower rings which I made. As their basis plastic rings from different bottles were used, I mean those rings which are right under the lid.

I still don't know what I'll do with them, but each time I have another plastic ring, I just crochet :) It's possible to arrange them in pairs and maybe make some interesting composition for the wall, or something else... If you have any ideas about how to use these, I'll be glad if you'd share them.

By the way, here you can find a tutorial about the crochetting process.
Thanks for reading!
