Magnolia Sweet Pea Tilda - An Envelope with a Tag

Hello my dear readers and visitors!

Today I really had fun coloring an image of Sweet Pea Tilda by Magnolia from one of the recent collections - "Once Upon A Time". Doesn't she look like a little Thumbelina? :) hh
For the first time I masked the stamps, and combined the Magnolia with the "Delicate Blossoms" by Hero Arts.

Here are the Copic colors I used:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, R20
Hair: E50, E53, E35, E37
Greens: G21, G94, G99; G21, G24, G28

Dress + Hat + Flowers: BV08, BV04, BV02, BV000
Ground: W5, W3, W1

Big Shoes - A Card With A Page Insert

Hello everybody!

Welcome my first post for the Mo's Dream Team. The card I'm showing you today is made in the style of this mini-album, more accurately speaking - the card has an insert, which is made exactly like a page in the album.
As some of you already know, I like cards with secret slots for the tags and with lots of space for writing personal messages.

For the current card I used a Mo Manning digital stamp, which is called "Big Shoes". I've planned to color this cute girl for a long time :)

The main Copic colors I've used are as follows:
Skin: E000, E00, E21, E11, E13
Shirt + Shoes: E38, E17, E13, E11
Hair: E11, E13, E15, E39, E79
Hat + Shorts: W7, W5, W3, W1
Ribbon + Bag: G03, G24, G02

The first page of the card:

In the side fold there's a pocket for a tag:

The second page:

On the back page there's a slot with two tags:

The filigree tab on the front of the card may be pulled out as well:

Several detail shots:

The papers used in this card are from two paper sets  - First Edition Paper Boho Chic & First Edition Paper Up Up & Away.
The dies used f the card: Marianne Design Creatables LR0269, Marianne Design Creatables LR0192, La La Land Crafts "Filigree Corner", Magnolia "Tilda Lace", Magnolia "Envelope Edge", Spellbinders "Opulent Ovals", Sizzix "Envelope Scallop Lace". Punch - Martha Stewart "Cherry Blossom".

I want to enter my card into these challenges:

Anything Goes @ Word Art Wednesday.
Children + Yellow @ Twisted Tuesday Challenges
Pastel Colors for Kids @ Send A Smile 4 Kids
Here Come Girls @ The Squirrel and The Fox

Congratulations Tilda - A Birthday Card in a Pocket Box

01/06/2013 Update - This project was selected in the TOP 5 @ MDUC.
This creation was selected as a "Runner Up" @ Eclectic Ellapu Challenge Blog.

Hello ladies!

Several days ago Stephanie posted on her UStream channel a video tutorial in which she was showing how to make a very pretty pocket box mini album. I loved the idea, but instead of making a mini, I've put a card into my pocket box.

It rally maybe a perfect gift for someone you love and want to present a unique handmade gift. Here's my result:

Today we don't have a very sunny day, so the pictures turned out a little bit dark. Here's how the pocket box looks when closed:

All the flowers on this project are self-made. The lid has a magnetic closure.

I used glimmer mists for this big flower on the lid:

The box's depth is 0.5".

Starting to open it:

This time I've really tried to color the image in very pastel colors, to match the papers' color scheme. The papers, by the way, are from the First Edition "Bird Song" paper pad:

To make the flowers I used these punches:

The card measures 5 3/4" X 3 3/4".

The inside decoration:

There are so many challenges for self-made flowers, taking place in different blogs!
I'd like to participate in the following:
1. Self-Made Flowers @ Eclectic Ellapu
2. Flowers/Roses @ Hobby Cutz
3. Flowers @ Creative Belli Blog
4. Self-Made Flowers @ MDUC
5. A Fancy Fold or Two @ Crafty Catz
6. Anything Goes @ Avenue 613
7. Add Sparkle @ Ribbon Girls
8. Photo Inspiration @ Catch the Bug

I'm so grateful to all my readers! Thank you for taking time and visiting my blog! See you soon :)

Triangular Explosion Candy Box

Good evening my lovely followers!
Hope your day is going on fine. Today I've made this triangular explosion box. Here you have a tutorial about constructing this "purse". I made some minor changes in the original instructions, plus the box is quite firm due to the chipboard reinforcements on the bottom and on the sides:

When opened, the box looks like this:

You can easily put there 4 Ferrero candies for someone you love :)

I struggled a lot to make the colors look as they look in reality (the base card-stock of the box is a lilac color), but still, at the pictures and on the screen the color look more PINK.... :(

For a stamped images I used "Cocoa with presents" by Magnolia & colored it with the following Copic colors:
Body: T0, T1, T2, T3, T4
Apron+Tag: W00, W0, W1, E70
Outfit+Ribbon: V91, V93, V95, V99
Pinks: RV13, RV11, RV10
Box: E77, E74, E71, E70
Dotted background: N3, N2, N1, N0.

I'm entering the following challenges:
1. Anything Goes With Ribbon @  Crafty Ribbons
2. Lilac & Lavender @ Ribbon Girls
3. 50 Shades of Lilac @ Live & Love Crafts
4. Use Flowers @ PapierPlaneten
