C.C.Designs and Doodle Dragon Blog Hop

Hello dear friends!

First I'll share the news with you - I'm joining a great design team at the C.C.Designs. The official introduction of the new design team members will be made at the C.C.Design blog during December, but as far as I'm taking part in the Doodle Dragon Blog Hop which starts today, I'm sharing the news with you here, on my blog.

C.C. Designs already has several illustrators in the family and now another member is joining - Dustin from Doodle Dragon

To introduce new Doodle Dragon images to the public, we are having a blog hop, while 3 blogs on the hop will be giving away 2 stamps each!! Of course, you cannot not know which blogs give the prizes until December 1st, when the winners will be announced. What you have to do is to check the projects created for you by the team and leave your comments.

Here's the hop order:

A soft fabric tag in an absolutely not my style :)

Hello friends!

I'm here with a really quick share of a tag I made for not special reason or occasion - just wanted to make something other than a card.

To make it look not completely simple, I covered it with fabric and added a polyester padding between the fabric and the base.

Used my sewing machine to attach the doily to the tag, as well as the Bingo card (used The Noor! Design stamp to create it):

When you don't feel like making anything big, it's really good to make tags. It's a kind of "soothing crafting" :)

Have a great day and thank you for the visit!

Favorite La-La Land Crafts Product

Hello everybody!

This week we had a new inspiration theme at the La-La Land Crafts blog and we had to answer ourselves a question what our favorite product from La-La Land Crafts was. I guess my answer was pretty obvious - border dies!

Here's my card for this Friday, featuring Paper Doll Marci Christmas Elf and the following dies:
Christmas Hill Border
Lattice Border
Lattice Doily Border
Fancy Christmas Tree
Stitched Elements
Heart Snowflakes
Pretty Poinsettia
Steampunk Clock

Copics used:
Skin: E04, E11, E00, E000, E0000 + RV21
Hair: E11, E15, E18
Outfit: BG02, BG01, BG000, BG0000
             T5, T3, T1

I used the crushed velvet on Marci's outfit trimming, but it's so hard to get a good picture of it!

More details follow:

Pop over to the LLLC blog to have a look at the cards of the rest of the team.

Have a nice weekend!

Mo Manning November Blog Hop - Fairies

Hello lovely people!

The theme for the monthly blog hop this time was chosen by me, so on the blogs of the Dream Team members you will see a lot of fairies. I hope you'll be inspired by the creations we've prepared for you.

My blog is your first stop, so without further ado, here's the card I've created using the "Baby Fairy Sipping" from this set.

Copics I used for coloring this cutie are as follows:
Skin:  E04, E11, E00, E000, E0000, RV21 (cheeks)
Hair: W5, E43, E31, YR31
Wings: V01, V000 + Y04, Y00
Flower: BV29, BV25, BV23, BV20 + BG10

Here are the details for you to have a look at:

Both of the tags may be pulled out (just as I like to do on nearly all of my cards):

For creating this card I mostly used the dies by Noor! Design:

0147 Square Frame   0322 Round with Butterflies   0304 Oval Die

0303 Circle Die   0023 Butterfly Die

That will be it from me and your next stop on the hop is the sweet Anneke.
I wonder, what she has made!?

The full hop order is like this:
Alexandra (you are here)

Have fun along the way and don't forget to leave your comments to be eligible for prize winning from Mo's Digital shop.

PS - I have a Christmas Candy to offer to my followers, you can check it here and decide if you want to enter.

Hugs,
Alexandra

Projects for the Noor! Design DT Call

Hello!

When I saw a post saying that Noor! Design with Tracey Payne are having a DT call I couldn't believe my eyes. I really admire the huge variety of Noor! Design products (especially the dies) and appreciate how fast the brand prospers and grows, surprising its customers again and again with new product lines. I can only imagine the tremendous effort of the leaders and the team standing behind this.

I own a few of the Noor! Design dies and for the DT call in which I decided to try my luck, I prepared several projects (2 cards and 1 mini album).

I posted the fist card today (for the Mo Manning Dream Team Monthly Blog Hop):

The Noor! Design dies I used for creating this card are as follows:

0147 Square Frame   0322 Round with Butterflies   0304 Oval Die

0303 Circle Die   0023 Butterfly Die

The next project for the DT call is a mini album:

The Noor! Design products used for creating the album are the following:

0147 Square Frame 0005 Floral Flourishes Heart 0148 Corner Die

0258 Oval Die  0322 Round with Butterflies  0185 Ribbon Banner  0043 Old Letter With Rose

The third project is an additional card:

The Noor! Design dies I used in this card are as follows:

2021 Ice Crystal Edge  2018 Ice Crystal No 1  2019 Ice Crystal No 2  0304 Oval Die

And now a little about myself:

I'm 34 stay-at-home mom to a 1 year old baby girl.
I mostly make cards, but for a change I like to make mini albums and various 3D projects too.
I create around 3-4 projects weekly & it's not my limit.
I have a page on Facebook (I've started to promote it only a couple of weeks ago),
and an account with several boards on Pinterest

I create cards with lots of details, using many dies from different companies and I'm sure that the die cuts in particular (aside from other embellishments) have the power to make a card (or any other project) look stunning. My motto is "make every detail count". Hopefully, this is one of the desirable qualities you are looking for in your DT applicants, along with the fact that they are responsible team-players, which is exactly what I am :)

I'm participating in additional Design Teams, which can give the Noor! Design products another showcasing stage.

That's it! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Thanks for watching!

Hugs,
Alexandra
