A Hexagon Box & A Tiny Book of Messages

Hello people!

Today I wanted to share two projects, but they were not done and intended to be a set or something, they are separate ones and I'm just sharing them together in one post.

***(My video tutorial on the box construction is available in two parts on my You Tube channel at this and this link)

So the box is made of chip board completely from scratch, and covered with the Bo Bunny papers from the Heritage Collection. It measures around 5.5" X 4 3/4" X 3 3/4":

The second is a key-chain book of messages. The original idea that I had was to make a mini book which I could took along with me, to entertain my 2 year old daughter once she gets bored on our shopping trips :) That's the reason I used the stamps from the Tim Holtz set called "Mini Baby Blueprints" and decided to use envelopes as well, so that I could put a tiny card inside and write several messages from me to my daughter (who knows, maybe this book will survive till she will start to understand what I really wanted to say with those messages).

The book measures 3" X 2 1/4" and has 6 envelope pocket pages. I used the tiny envelopes which I got a long time ago from AliExpress:

That's it, I hope you like both of these creations. Thanks for looking.

Hugs,
Alexandra

Hello lovelies!

This will be a quick post to share with you another suitcase that I've made, it's not an album, but it has an itsy bitsy album inside and a couple of tiny envelopes too. I made it using an XL die from Sizzix - Bag, Suitcase.

There's also a demonstration video available on my You Tube here:

ATC size mini album using Kaisercraft "Pitter Patter" paper collection

Hello dear visitors!

There's a new video tutorial available on my You Tube channel for creating the following ATC-size mini album ( 3" x 4"), using Kaisercraft "Pitter Patter" paper collection.

The album can hold up to 36 2" x 3" photos and make a wonderful handmade gift for any occasion, it's easy and fun to make and gives you the opportunity to get rid of the leftover papers due to its really small size.

In the video description I've stated all of the measurements for the album covers, spine and pages.
I'll double then here as well:

Chip board for the covers - 3 1/8" x 4 1/8" (2 pc)
                                               1 3/4" x 4 1/8" (1 pc)

Base pages:
8 1/4" X 3" (6 pc) - scored at 4" and 8" on the long side

Flip-out pockets:
8 1/4" X 2,5" (6 pc) - scored at 4" and 8" on the long side

Photo-mats:
5" x 3 7/8" (6 pc) - scored at 2.5" on the 5" side

Journaling tabs:
3 7/8" X 2 5/8" (6 pc)

Hinges:
3/4" X 3 7/8" (6 pc) - scored at 3/8" on the 3/4" side

Here is the full list of the scorings for the 3 7/8" X 7 3/4" piece of cardstock for the hidden hinge binding:
1" > 1 3/8" > 1 3/4" > 2" > 2 3/8" > 2 3/4" > 3" > 3 3/8" > 3 3/4" > 4" > 4 3/8" > 4 3/4" > 5" >
5 3/8" > 5 3/4" > 6" > 6 3/8" > 6 3/4".

Here are the photos of the finished mini:

Thanks for watching and have a great Sunday!

Alexandra
